How we work

The Bespoke Process

Bespoke means we work in conversation. From the first message to the final fitting, the pace is yours — and the pieces last.

  1. Consult

Tell us about the occasion, your role, dates, and what draws you in. Send images that move you.

  2. Sketches

A small set of considered options — silhouette, color, embellishment direction. We refine until it's yours.

  3. Deposit

A 50% deposit reserves the atelier's time, sources fabrics, and begins draft cutting.

  4. Production

Pattern, fitting samples, embroidery, finishing. 8–12 weeks for most pieces; heavy hand-work runs longer.

  5. Ship

Insured air courier worldwide. Tracked to your door, packed to travel.

  6. Local alterations

If something needs a last small tuck on arrival, take it to a trusted local tailor with our notes.

Realistic timing

Most pieces are 8–12 weeks from confirmed deposit to ready-to-ship. Heavy hand-embroidery (zardozi, dense aari) adds 3–6 weeks. International shipping is typically 5–7 business days.

Measurement guide

Take measurements over light clothing. A friend helps. Use a soft tape.

  • Bust — around the fullest part, tape level.
  • Underbust — just under the bust, tape snug.
  • Waist — narrowest point of the torso.
  • High hip — about 4 fingers below the natural waist.
  • Full hip — around the fullest part of the hips and seat.
  • Shoulder — back of shoulder to shoulder, across.
  • Sleeve — top of shoulder to wrist, arm slightly bent.
  • Length — for lehengas: navel to floor with the shoes you will wear.
